For four consecutive years I represented Olympus UK on the judging panel for the Photography section of the D&AD Student Awards. I also wrote the briefs for this section of the 2004 and 2005 competitions.
The 2004 brief was written in collaboration with the photographer Bob Carlos Clarke. It asked students to produce a series of photographs that explored the ideas behind the seven deadly sins. The following year I asked student to create a series of stunning promotional images that would capture the imagination of young creative photographers. Both documents can be downloaded below.
